MES International School Pattambi is a unique school that offers theMontessori curriculum for the pre-primary and primary levels. The Montessori curriculum is based on the philosophy and approach of Dr. Maria Montessori, who believed that every child has an innate potential to learn and grow at his or her own pace. The Montessori environment provides the child with a variety of materials and activities that stimulate the child’s senses, imagination, and intelligence. The child learns by doing, exploring, and discovering, rather than by memorizing or repeating. The child also develops social skills, self-confidence, and independence by working with peers and adults in a mixed-age group.
